Description: Large kidney-shaped sheet-gold pectoral featuring a repoussé anthropomorphic mask at the center. The figure wears prominent ear ornaments and a nose ring from which two circular gold discs are suspended. The broad pectoral plate is decorated with finely incised geometric border patterns typical of Calima metalwork traditions. Such ornaments were worn across the chest by elite individuals during ceremonial events, where their reflective surfaces and suspended elements created visual movement and emphasized status.
