Description: A finely cast Coclé gold pendant in the form of a stylized frog with an openwork body composed of elongated spiral elements. The limbs terminate in rounded loops, while the head is articulated with raised eyes and a mouth formed by six tightly coiled spirals. The flowing spiral motifs and sculptural modeling are characteristic of Coclé metalwork of central Panama, where amphibian imagery held symbolic associations with water, fertility, and transformation.
