Description: Quipu from Nazca with Unusual Header and 34 Knotted Cords. Peru, Inca, Far South Coast. This Quipu was found in Nazca. The header band is unusual with a wide band decorated with red, blue, green and brown dyed alpaca wool bands. The knots are nicely tied in natural cotton cords.
