Description: Hammered and annealed gold nose ornament composed of a central crescent element flanked by two rectangular panels with geometric cutwork. Each panel supports six suspended triangular pendant elements attached by small loops, creating movement and sound when worn. The highly geometric design and thin sheet-gold construction are characteristic of Capulí metalwork traditions of the Nariño cultural region along the Ecuador–Colombia border. Such nose ornaments were worn suspended from the nasal septum as part of elite ceremonial regalia. Weight: 14.50 grams.
