Description: Cylindrical gold bracelet constructed from hammered sheet gold formed around an organic core, likely wood. The surface is decorated in repoussé with a repeating bird-head motif in profile. The design is executed in a continuous band with scalloped outer edges. Such bracelets were worn by high-status individuals and demonstrate the refined sheet-gold working techniques characteristic of Calima metalwork traditions in pre-Colombian Colombia.
